Travel & Transportation Policies

To ensure the safety of our student-athletes, the district strictly monitors all athletic travel:

• Authorized Transport: Student-athletes must ride district-provided transportation to all athletic events and are encouraged to ride the bus back to the school.
• Parent Sign-Out: A student-athlete may ride home only with their parent or legal guardian, provided the parent signs out with the coach in person.
  • To travel home with an immediate family member, a signed parental note or email explaining the extenuating circumstances must be approved by the athletic director.
  • Student-athletes will not be permitted to ride home with anyone other than their parents, guardians, or an immediate family member (with prior written permission). Friends, neighbors, etc. can transport once the student-athlete is back to an ESM CSD school.
