Communication Protocol

If a parent or student-athlete has a concern regarding a sports season, the athletic department utilizes a structured due process protocol. All communication should remain professional and utilize official platforms such as ParentSquare.

The 24 Hour Rule: Please allow 24 hours after a contest before approaching a coach regarding play or strategy. This cooling-off period allows both parties to discuss concerns rationally and constructively.

Step 1: Student-Athlete discusses concerns directly with Coach

Step 2: Parent schedules formal meeting with Coach & Student-Athlete

Step 3: Joint meeting with Athletic Director, Coach, Parent & Athlete

Step 4: Final meeting with Superintendent/Designee & Athletic Director
